COMPRESSED VERSION OF A VERY LONG STORY AHEAD!! I finally decided to divulge Sin Nomine's background story after drawing this picture, which turned out a lot better than I had anticipated. So, yeah, enjoy. ^^

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Sin Nomine was created in one of the many floating islands that the Seraphine inhabited. She was created to be a guard dog, an experiment that would forever perch on the city's spires and crags to watch over and protect it's winged inhabitants for all eternity.

That was, until the war broke out.

It was a gruesome war. Everything had been fine until a demon, in an attempt to see his lover, crossed the boundaries of the two worlds and set foot upon the marble tiles of the floating city. He was beaten by the animated stone sentinels and cast back down to the world below to rejoin his brethren in the barren valleys that demonic creatures inhabited. In retaliation, the devils of the sunken deserts fought back, and thus had the war begun. (another story for another time :3)

The Seraphine then saw Sin for what she really was. Her creator had used a base soul for his work. He had invented a creature with the soul of a terrible demon.

Even though Sin was prohibited from harming any Seraphine, they cast her out angrily and scolded her inventor for creating such a monster. He was saddened, but knew that nothing could be done about it, so he let her leave and hoped that she would survive and forgive him for what they had done to her.

The floating city fell before her eyes. The Demons attacked the unsuspecting and vain city from which she came from, and overtaken them.

Sin flew long and hard in an attempt to escape. Her wings slowly lost their feathers and resumed the shape of her original demon's design. Anger formed in her heart and she became bitter and selfish, relying only on herself to live.

But she never forgot.

One day, a slave caravan was passing through her territory. She knew he was one of them, even through his lack of wings and physical appearance was that of a frail human.

Sin Nomine was not one to break promises. As he fell to the whips and beatings of his captors, she swooped in and carried him back to her lair, where she used her weak magic to undo his magical bindings, and set his wings, like a coiled spring, exploding into existence.

He never even knew what he was. He could not remember his past. All that he knew was that some purple-haired great-horned beast had swept him off of his feet as he was being transported to a new owner...and that now he suddenly had beautiful pair of white feathered wings.

But he was thankful for being saved, no matter the reason, and embraced Sin with all of his might. It was something that Sin had never experienced before, and if she could cry, she would have.

Mmm...yeah. I like this picture. A lot.

Meh, I'll hate it tomorrow. XD!! lol I suck.

I had to watch my niece all night long and only had a sketchbook, some pencils, and my imagination to keep me company. Here's the fruits of mah boredo----I mean, labors. :b

I really love how you draw wings, they are purty.

I agree though, new submission system = utter crap.
Everything I try to submit goes right into the anthro, or misc category. >:C

ANTHRO WUT? There are no humanoids in there anywhere.
They need to go back to the old submission system seriously, I hate having my artwork put in the wrong catagories forever (Because I tried fixing it, and it just moved back to anthro magically)
