Demon of Chaos

I know that I draw a lot of demons, and this may make me seem like a satanist or something, but please keep in mind that I view "demon" as only a race, and that the amounts of different kinds of personalities, demeanors, and behaviors have just as much variety as the human race. :3

Here's a little Demon of Chaos. He's quite friendly and, like his brethren, has interesting ablilities. If you have a Chaos demon as a companion, they can be very mischevious, but never to the point of ever harming you. One of the main things that they like to do is listen for someone to declare an action "impossible". That mere word triggers their abilities, allowing them to perform the said ability for the sake of confusing and confounding.

Beauty in their societies is with sporadic and interesting fashions and "impossible" fashions. Having 2 horns that do not match up in length or random spots all over their bodies are considered beautiful. They need no food to survive, and thus spend many of their days simply causing mischief, and proving the world wrong on what it thought was "impossible". They are still very loyal, however, no matter the degree of their innate insanity, and make friends for life, though their version of "friend" is sort of twisted, seeing as how they can be your friend until the day you die, but only see you once or twice in your entire life. Smiles rarely leave their faces, as there is that of Chaos and disorder everywhere.

The village stood rigid in a row on the road, not allowing the elder of the village, Gerrid, and his Chaos Demon companion to pass. Gerrid sighed and started to speak once more, even though he knew that they would not listen any longer.

The village leader stepped forward before a single word could leave the old man's mouth. "NO!! I'll hear none of your nonesense anymore!! It's simply IMPOSSIBLE for us to believe that you have befriended a...a demon!!"

The Chaos Demon, only moments ago lost in thoughts of how he could use the butterfly fluttering overhead to skate across the icy depths of the oceans with a crossbow full of silverfish, was plucked from his crazed thoughts by a word...a single entity that he knew as a god, falling out of the man's mouth. As his eyes widened in ecstacy and his face split in an insane grin, he started into a psychotic string of giggling, then burst into a guffaw of cackling laughter. His eyes glazed over, no longer even coherent of what he was laughing at, but oh, was it funny...

The townspeople froze...and for a moment, their eyes were the same as the insane thoughts of The Chaos entered their minds. No matter, though, they would forget it as soon as the Demon's magic had done its deed.

Minutes passed by as the old man watched in horror. He had no idea what was going on...

Much to his surprise, however, as the slowly slowed down and started to merely chuckle, the leader of the village smiled and the villagers parted, allowing a pathway to be formed for the two that stood in front of them.

"Welcome to the village, friend of Gerrid!"
